Expensive Lesson

I went to turn the heater on the other morning, and it wouldn't work. After adam and I both tinkering with it for a day, and consulting my dad, we diceided to call for a repair man, This is what he found.

These 6 rocks cost me $91. Over the summer, Blake has been putting rocks into the intake vale for the heater. What a stinker. I couldn't help but laugh. At least it wasn't something more expensive, right? Oh what I could have done with that extra hundred dollars. We will have to keep a closer watch on him next summer. Today it was in the 20's when I woke up. We really need the heat here in Minnesnowta.

Hey Sarah! It was fun to see your note on my blog. It looks like you guys are doing well. Your baby!! (It's been so long since we've seen you.) He's so big now. And Kayleigh is so much older. Crazy how fast time flies.

Sounds like Adam is busy, but I'm glad he seems to be enjoying it. It makes it worth the while and it won't be this crazy schedule for ever, right?! That's what I tell myself. :)

How do you like it up there? How much time do you have left? 2 years?

Oh Sarah! I can't believe a couple of pebbles did that. I don't even know where the intake valve is to my heater. I should probably find out! Cute story, sorry it had an expensive ending.

Hey sarah, I found your link on Melanie's blog and couldn't resist seeing what you guys were up to. I can't believe how big your kids are! I still remember Kayleigh being in my nursery class. Wow, time flies. We are doing great out here is Sonora, Ca and Sam really likes being out of residency. I'm sorry about the rocks. It looks like something I should be watching out for also. :)
